Past Awards 
TAVA 2011 AWARDS was a very huge success with the presence of industry heavy weights, press crew of television houses and Journalists present. Samsung Electronics W.A, UAC Gossy water were there as the sponsors.
The Ministry of Information & Communications and the National Lottery Regulatory Commission were highly represented. There was so much champagne on the purple carpet while guests mixed freely in the cosy environment of the banquet hall of the National Arts Theatre Iganmu Lagos between 3.pm to 5.pm when the show properly kicked off.
At the registration point guests were given raffle tickets which will qualify them to carry home so many SAMSUNG 46'' LED television sets free of charge. From the registration point, each guest faced stern looking Bouncers whose duty it was to sift through the invitations and dress codes. Those properly dressed and duly invited were allowed to enter the show.
The event was compered by Uzonna Ononye and Amaka Boby Umeano. Soon the event kicked off with TAVA anthem performed by a group of dancers. The MD of Samsung Mr. Id. Enang and the Head of Corporate marketing Mr. Donald Etim gave short speeches to explain why SAMSUNG threw their weight behind TAVA AWARDS. It was a night of Pizzaz and Razzmattazz. There were so much wine, and assorted drinks and delicious food prepared and served by UAC foods.
There was a standing band dishing out old tunes, there was comedians with rib cracking jokes as well as Iriko band performances interlacing the award presentations.
Finally, there was special recognition awards to industry energizers like Amaka Igwe, Wale Adenuga (MFR)Madu Chikwendu and Peace Anyiam Osigwe.
Natpe Discorp handed 500Euros free badges to so many producers at the event while SAMSUNG gift splash gave large screens to the audience and award winners through a raffle draw.
Never before has there been a night a wholesome entertainment, style, glitz and meriment like Tava 2011.
